I am Minneke, a Flemish girl living in Ranst with my dear family that consists of my sweet boyfriend Tom and our two lovely sons Wout and Ward.

As I was born in a real Flemish family, my grandfather being former major of Nijlen, Lode Van Dessel, and my mother being council member for Ranst, my interest in the N-VA is nothing short of logical!

Why do I put myself forward as candidate for the Flemish elections?
That is a very good question!

In the past two years it has become clear the our country’s government has failed terribly. The regional Flemish level was well being governed, especially owing to the N-VA who participated in drawing up the plan of government, and until recently also was part of the governing majority.

Vlaanderen needs more good government, and we need more autonomy for Flanders.
I would like to set my shoulders to this wheel.

Together with the other N-VA candidates, I want to offer the Flemish people an alternative to deal with the Flemish issues, without interference from the federal level.
